My husband and I have been married for almost seven years and have been trying to get pregnant for three. My body has not yet responded to any medications and the driver behind this is my insulin resistance. My fertility specialist has now classified me as high risk and discontinued her treatments due to my A1C levels. Without lose of weight, my condition, PCOS and Insulin Resistance will prevent me from getting pregnant. Throughout this ordeal, I have been treated by an endocrinologist to assist with weightloss, but it has been unsuccessful.
I have attempted to see three different doctors in the U.S. Two offices refused to see me because my BMI is 33.4 and not 35. Stuck at 33, my chances of having a child seemed slim. I started looking into Mexico and now have a surgery date for October 11th. I am very excited and look forward to feeling better physically and just about myself in general. I am most excited about the increased chance of becoming a mother.
My doctor is Dr. Jose Rodriguez (JoseBand)
