I was just wondering if anyone else was sleeved on Jan 31 and how your progress was going? As of today we are 2 months out I am down 30 pounds since surgery and I lost 10 before surgery so now down a total of 40 from my highest weight. Has anyone had any likes, dislikes, or any types of food you absolutely can't handle? So far I have not had any foods that have made me sick. A few times I have over done it and are too much and that was painful so I am trying to remember to take small bites and chew chew chew. Hope everyone is doing well! I am anxious to hear your progress!

My surgery was on Jan 25 so not far off from you. Only thing that has bothered me so far is drinking too much coffee. Even with doing 75% Decaf and 25% regular if I drink too much it tears me up. That would happen from time to time prior to surgery but definitely more sensitive to it now.

Denser meats can beat me up. I have to really take my time eating them otherwise it sits heavy & hard for the next hour. I've been working in more veggies lately and it's been wonderful to have greens again.

Down 43 lbs as of this morning from my surgery. Hit a stall for about 2 1/2 weeks but have been making progress again this week. Congrats on your progress so far!

My surgery was 2/2... I have lost 29 since surgery 40 total. I had a 2 week stall during my first month, and now it's kind of slow going. I am not able to eat a lot and I forget and eat too fast STILL!

I had surgery 1/19 lost 48 lbs already. I feel great I can definitely run more and work out more. People can definitely see my progress but I guess it's harder for me to see it. Sometimes I still feel like I haven't lost 48 lbs. it's weird anyone else feel like that?

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
