6 days post opp pain on left side internal

From day 1 after surgery gastric sleeve I have this extreme pain on my left side about 2 inches from my belly button.it feels like a blow torch is going off in my stomach for a few sec then goes away.it

only happens when I try and sit up bend down or cough.I called the doc office and they said it doesn't sound like it's related to the surgery but I know it is because it was not there before.please tell me this is normal and I just need to wait it out.Other then that I feel totally fine.please help!

Mine was by one of my incisions on my right side. When I went to my first follow-up appointment, I was told that the incision that was bothering me is where they pulled the stomach out. It only lasted for 2-3 weeks.
