    REGRET

Hang in there. I think many people experience these thoughts because, contrary to some beliefs, this is hard and not an easy way out. I hope you find some relief soon. All I can say is, it does get better. Good luck!

    Reintroduction

@JerseyJules thanks for your encouragement and the acronym to remind me to stay away from CRAP. I appreciate your advice. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  5. I just shared on another post that I was sleeved in January 2017, and I'm almost 7 months out, but I've only lost 55 lbs. so far. I know I need to change some things, but I feel I'm a slow loser. I will not give up, and I've decided to go back to basics - the liquid diet. It also helps to have a good support group. I wish you luck and keep pushing! Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

  8. This has been an interesting post. My eating has been off for the past two weeks. I have been eating junk every day. I have resolved myself that I have to reset. I am 3 months post-surgery and am down 40 lbs. I'm not sure how I got so far off track, but I know that the cravings of your mind are very strong and it's important to have the right snacks and foods around so I won't be so tempted for those things that led me to get this surgery in the first place. I find this community very helpful and supportive. I'm glad I opened this post today. Good luck to you all.

    Am I losing too quickly?

It's about 800 calories. My doctor wants me to get it between 800 and 1,000, but I struggle to get in 800.

    5 month post opt pictures

You look amazing! I was sleeved on 1/23/17, and I've lost almost 30 lbs. I haven't really worked out yet due to pain associated with osteoarthritis. But I need to find something I can do. You are very motivational!

    You will be fine!
  12. My doctor told me to get PEPCID chewables as well. They come in different flavors also .

    Am I losing too quickly?

    Thank you so much!!
  14. I was also a sugar addict, but after surgery - everything tastes too sweet to me. Even the sugar-free jello and pudding tasted sweet. I never thought I'd be able to conquer my sweet tooth, but the surgery has definitely helped.
  15. I have an issue still with smells. It's like my sense of smell is heightened with the surgery. Not sure this will go away.
  16. It does get better. I was sleeved on 1/23/17, and remember feeling like I had morning sickness. The only time I felt okay is when I was asleep. I don't remember when I stopped feeling this way, but the feeling will pass and you'll start to feel better. Hang in there!

    Am I losing too quickly?

I haven't lost as quickly. I was sleeved on 1/23/17, and in almost 2 months, I've lost approximately 30 lbs. I asked my doctor at my last followup was this too slow and he told me it was normal. So I'm plugging along. My starting weight was 270.
  18. You look incredible! What an inspiration.
  19. Forgot to add that Nascobal is a complete vitamin supplement system designed for bariatric patients.
  20. It was offered to me through my surgeon's office. My nutritionist actually presented it to me and sent it in from the doctor's office. Call your doctor's office to see if they participate. It has to be sent in from the doctor's office because it is actually a prescription.

4days Post Op - Full liquid diet.

I saw another post where someone said that bariatriceating.com had a lot of recipes. Haven't gone there yet, but plan on using it.
  22. I have my 2nd weigh-in on Wednesday of next week. On my first appointment, I was down 15 lbs. from surgery. Now, 5 weeks since that appointment, and I think I've only lost about 2 lbs. I will know for sure on Wednesday. I've been on other posts where folks talk about stalling before they have a big loss. Trying not to worry too much about it.
