It's day 8 of liver shrinking diet

Last week was absolutely awful, but this week is so amazing. I had no idea how I was going to stop the cravings and control myself, but I went through the sugar withdrawals and I'm on the other side. I feel like I have more energy, I'm happier, I'm more alert and less foggy headed. I feel great. Tell me, do I feel like this after bypass too?

    I am so happy I got this surgery. It was painful and the leakage tube they stick in me caused the most, I am starting to feel better and I'm still overwhelmingly excited for this journey! And I go home today!

    Thank you! When I left the hospital the pain started to come back so I'm just waiting for my prescription to be filled. How is everyone else doing?

    Does the pre-op diet start close to the surgery or does it start six months before the surgery? (probably a silly question.)
