Tell me about your favorite sports bra

Recommended Posts

Before surgery, my cup size was an DDD/E. I'm now down to a D and think I will probably go lower. My current sports bra is by Wacoal. I like it well enough, but would love to know more about your experiences with other brands. What do you like? What works? Any brand or style that you absolutely hated?

I really like the Danskin line at Walmart, they are cute but affordable. I have this one in black, white and blue. It has some padding to lift up the girls ( since I lost so much volume in them) and it clasps in the back just like a regular bra so you can adjust the fit up or down.

I really love the basic Nike ones. As well as Glamorise ones: https://www.amazon.com/Glamorise-Womens-Double-Custom-Control/dp/B00C1Z2GX6/

@@MissKay Are the Glamorise ones true to bra size or do you find they fit differently?

@@vamping the band size is pretty true fit, but the cups are a little bigger, but not a whole lot

I really love Torrid's sports bras, but they're pretty dang expensive. I get a lot of my active wear at old navy, and Walmart. Danskin brand at Walmart is surprisingly good.

I have stuck with Razorbacks from Patagonia and Razorbacks from under armor I went from about an F To now C. I always choose extra firm hold to minimize the chicle. I run

Panache makes an AMAZING underwire sports bra that gives really good support to the gals. I'm still a G cup, even 100 pounds down; I suspect I'll never hit 'normal' sizes when it comes to bra. But this one's comfy, and supportive, for sure, even if it's a bit expensive!

For me, though, it's always worth spending on bras. They last longer and feel better...

I was a 46 DD before surgery, but now I am a 34 C. It makes things much easier. My favorite sports bra is by Victoria's Secret. I am not sure which one it is but I try to buy multiple ones when they are on sale.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
