    What a great accomplishment. Can you share any difficulties you have had with any foods, etc? I have my first consultation in 2 weeks with the surgeon and am nervous. Was thinking of Gastric sleeve but I have reflux so bypass may be better. Thanks!

    Hello Seraya!

    The only complication I had was Dumping Syndrome. I literally was throwing up and pooping at the same time! It was from a little bit of pizza I had two months out. Just be very careful with what you eat. Did you get a meal plan? I have all that if you need it!

    Thank you Iscarelys! I will certainly be reaching out as I move through the process. It's interesting to me. I was doing tons of research online and saw a random link to this group. I'm so glad I found it. I had done a liquid diet (Optifast) for a year (most people do it for 12 weeks) with great success though I have put back on 100 of the 150 I lost in the last 5 years. I had found a liquid diet online support group and found it so helpful. I'm glad to know I have found that Kind of support again.
