  5. I have been on regular foods since I was 6 days pre-op. I know it was early, and I ended up back on soft foods for another couple of weeks. I have been doing FINE. Until yesterday. I started feeling kind of sick. Very gurgly stomach, not able to eat much. Im not sure if its food or the water or if it could be my vitamins, which have been REALLY GROSSING ME OUT!! I see the surgeon Thursday, I hope he lets me switch vitamins. Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. I was sleeved June 14, and I think I'm one of the un-lucky ones that never stopped being hungry. I eat WAY LESS now, and try to only eat when and what I should, but I wish I lost the hunger. Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  7. Hi. I was sleeved on June 14, and I have the SAME issue. Pre-op, I LOVED my protein shakes, now, I can't stand them! I tried a meatball, I used to love them...not the same. I can only drink water if it has tons of ice in it! And even then, it doesn't always taste "right". I hope this passes with time. I have switched to Fairlife milk, thats really good, and extra protein. Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. I was.cleared on day 6 to eat regular food. I tried for about a week, and then decided to go back to soft foods like yogurt, I don't think I was ready for the food yet Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. I was never given any amount to stick with, no carb/calorie limits. He just said chew well and you'll know when you should stop eating. Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app

  13. I am so frustrated! I was sleeved June 14 and I lost 14lbs right away (I assume from all of the fluids I was given in the hoapital) but since then, I have only lost 3. I have been cleared for all foods since day 6 post op. I know I'm not drinking enough and I'm not exercising. I just joined a gym, so I am hoping that gives me the kick start I need. 14. I was sleeved June 14, and I have only lost 17lbs since surgery. I'm getting really frustrated. Are you exercising? I just sent in paperwork to join a gym, I am starting to worry that this isn't working for me. Where are you in Pa? I am about 15 min from the Phila airport. 17. Hi. I am about 4.5 weeks out from my sleeve surgery, my dr has had me on regular food since day 6 post op. I had gone back to soft foods about 2 weeks ago, and just started eating meats again this week. Tonight, for the first time, I went out to dinner with my family, I had a chicken caprese meal. I ate about 5 bites of chicken, 2 pieces of motzarella and maybe 5 crouton size pieces of roasted potato. I stopped when I started feeling full, but I can't help but wondering if its too much. My dr said I can eat breads and stuff AFTER I eat my protein which I do....(make sure I eat protein first). Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  18. I packed a bag to take to the hospital, and I'll be honest with you, the ONLY thing I used out of it was my phone charger. They wanted me to stay in the hospital gown, I kept their slippers on, and wore the clothes home that I wore in. Don't bother packing too much. Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  19. I just did what they said. Not drinking didn't bother me, I'm not a big drinker anyway unfortunately. Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  20. I was told nothing after midnight, my surgery was 11am the next day. Every surgery I've ever had I was told to stop eating and drinking at midnight Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app

  24. Congratulations! That is awesome! I am only 3.5 weeks out, I have had a lot of trouble eating and at times, drinking. I think I was put on meats and food too soon (6days post op) so I decided to go back to soft foods for awhile, I hope.it helps!!! Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
