4 days post op and getting 90gr protein
Hubby is doing great! He's getting in all his protein and exercising with no pain at all! He even played on his pool league tonight! He saw his primary doc today and he's in great health! So proud of him and all of you for embarking on this journey!![emoji173] Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app

Weight Stand Still
Try to stay away from the scale during plateaus. Use a measuring tape instead. If you are exercising you'll be gaining muscle which is heavier and denser than fat[emoji173] Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app

Early Post-Op Eating
I bought hubby flavourless protein powder. I use it in all his puddings and he adds extra protein in his shakes. No problem for him to get his 90gr of protein a day Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app

Take measurement!
I'm a former bodybuilder and my husband had his surgery 2 days ago. The first thing we did was take waist and neck measurements. The scale is VERY deceiving! I applaud and support all of you for your journey! True winners! Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app

I'm seriously getting pissed off with my stall
Try using the tape measure, NOT the scale during your plateau. Muscle is denser and a pound of muscle will be smaller than a pound of fat Sent from my LGMS550 using BariatricPal mobile app

No water 13 hours pre op??
Hi, my husband is having sleeve done at noon tomorrow, and he was told no water after 10pm. It's 115 degrees here! Why must he go so long without water?!
