This waiting game!

  • Popular Post

This past week I completed all my pre surgery requirements! My husband was sleeved on June 27th 2017. I am very eager to get mine done and excited that I am ready. Waiting for them to call me with a surgery date is the hardest! I really don't want to wait for months on end. I don't think I'm worried about the surgery it's the 2 weeks liquid fast that has got me worried. I don't do well with mind games but I am happy my husband is so supportive! My husband has had great recovery and is looking amazing! I'm 28 years old and ready to live IMG_2932.JPGmy new life style!! Is anyone else waiting for a call?? It does not help that my boss keeps asking when it is. Ugh I pray it's soon [emoji846]

Everyone gets anxious at this time it's gonna happen quickly the insurance companies and your Dr's keep up on these things. I know mine did and everyone who posts on these websites gets their dates fairly easy. I wouldn't worry but I still kept on them and you should too. Nothing wrong with staying on top of them and making sure they do their jobs. I did and it pays off.

I am currently going through the same thing. They submitted my paperwork to insurance at the end of June. Insurance told them they had to resubmit. According to my doctors office they did and even put urgent on it. Called insurance and doctors office thursday but the insurance said they have nothing. Doctors office said they will call again. From what I hear it only takes my insurance two days to get back. So I am giving them until Wednesday and I am calling again. My doctors office said we will call you but I am not waiting on that. As I start school in September and need to have my surgery scheduled in August!

The IPA group that has to approve always sends letter. I would call them directly...

You must stay on them. My doctors office gave me the blues. I called back and forth from the surgeons office to my doctors office at least twice a week until it was finally done.
