Hi! I'm in the Bronx. Sleeved on April 3rd, 2017. HW:261, SW:244, CW:164!!! I'm happy with my results but I'm deficient in my Iron and B vitamins.

Hi. Glad to hear your happy with your results.
Are you taking pills for vitamins? I use vitamin patches since surgery. Are you keeping active , gym exercise?

Yes, I'm taking multivitamins, B-Complex, Vitamin B1, Vit C and D. My PCP just added monthly B12 shots and B12 sublingual pills everyday. I'm also taking a high dude Iron capsule as well. It metabolizes differently than over the counter iron. Yes, I stay very active. I do exercise. BUT, my weight lifting sucks!!! I don't have the time to go to a gym. I have made one in my garage but I still have to get a weight bench and other weight equipment.

Cool. I still get a b12 injection but use a multi vitamin patch every other day since my body absorbs it well. I had too much vitamin.
Exercise is important. I stopped during the summer since I was concentrating on biking [emoji1395]. I’ll start my regular routine at 5am before going to work.

Have you taken an pictures during your process

Yes...not many. But I have.

Cool.

I'm trying to learn how to post on this site. Lol....did you ever feel any regrets after having the surgery???

This app sucks. It’s hard to locate certain things.
As for your question. It was best decision I’ve ever made. My only regret was not doing it sooner. What about you?
When I did my surgery it was 3 days before my birthday so it was hard with family and friends wanting to go out. I didn’t tell anyone aside from my fiancée. My family and friends just think I lost weight since I been going to the gym 5 days a week.

Lol...I totally understand you. My co-workers, my children and hubby, my brother, and maybe 2 friends know about my surgery. I lost the weight and people be so surprised because they had not seen me for months, even years. I'm not ashamed at all about my surgery. It is the best decision I have ever made!!!! I can actual breath. I can walk up stairs and 1 mile without having shortness of breath. My joints don't hurt anymore. It's an amazing feeling. I'm 6 months post op, the only negative thing about the surgery is these yo-yo hormones. [emoji34]

I didn’t tell family because I know how they would pass judgment and comments so I didn’t want to be bothered. My nephew had surgery last year and I hear the comments so I just stay out of it.

It’s a great feeling being able to move more without being tired. I picked up biking after surgery now I love my bike. I just did the bike mes tour last weekend for 30 miles. Looking forward to others.

Where are you from, nationality if I may ask.
What do you eat nowadays? Do you feel you can eat more than usual?

I'm from Queens . I had surgery 9/13 and looking for a support group that fits into my crazy work schedule. I wish my apartment was bigger , I would start my own. Also looking for gym reccomendations in queens/Li.!

Sorry about the delay in response.....West Indian and Native American. What do I eat? Well this surgery has made me somewhat of a vegetarian. Meat does not settle too well. I do have to watch my calorie intake as well as water. I do try to make smoothies. I have one protein shake (Premier Protein). I still only can eat small amounts at a time. I get acid reflux at times really badly.
