It's Offical I'm off my Meds

Aloha All

Well sports fans it's offical as of 9-17-07, 1120 AM HST. As per my PCP I'm off ALL my Meds, no more High Blood Pressure Meds (That should make my DSW Happy) no more diabetes med. and no more Chlesterol med. I'm so happy this was my goal to get off my meds. So from now on any weight I loss is just for show. Thanks to everyone that has sent me support e-mail and above all I owe so much to my DSW Beverly for her contuined support, I don't think I could have done it without her. She is the Best. And also big Mahalo's to Dr. Fowler and his staff and The Castle Medical Center for there care and support. Well got to run, sorry for the miss spelled words and words left out, I just so excited I can hardly stand it.

Aloha

Congrats!!! ;) Oh I'm jealous now LOL

Me sitting here with my 14 yes 14 pills I have to take every morning for many of the same things. (5 being vitamin or other supliments).

Congrats Dave! It's like it makes all of this worth it. I was never on meds like that but scared of getting obesity related diseases, so it really shows that the lap band is really worth it. Way to go!:car:

Way To Go Big Wave Dave, You Are My Hero. You Are So Awesome And Amazing. You Are My Inspiration. If It Weren't For You I Wouldn't Be On This Journey. Just Fabulous, Absolutely Fabulous.

That is so great! That is the whole reason why I looked into this procedure. Two years ago (at age 31) I was diagnosed with chronic hypertension, and am taking 3 pills a day for it. My doctor had a really hard time getting it under control.

I have been working toward my surgery for about 8 months now, and have lost 40 lbs, although in the past few months I have gained a few back... (another reason for the surgery).

During some of my initial tests, I was just discovered to have reached the max for desirable triglicerides (sp?). I am doing this just in time it seems.

Anyway, congratulations! That is so fantastic, and I hopefully won't be too far behind!! :)
