I can't believe my surgery is here. Two weeks ago - the start of my liquid diet - feels like forever ago. Longest two weeks ever! It doesn't help that I also was taking law school final exams while on the pre-op diet (I know, I'm crazy). I'm doing the clear liquid diet today and I am starving. I can't wait to get this done and over with and begin my new life. I'm having some last minute doubts but I know those are just nerves. Send some positive vibes to Michigan!

@ sill21.. All the way from the gulf coast in beautiful Mobile, Al, I send you positive energy, blessings, and courage. You will do just fine. I'm nine days post op and when the and when the anesthesiologist came in to talk to me , I was like I so am not up for this. But I pushed through and I am fine. You will be fine also. Congrats on the decision to change your life.
