  1. That's awesome I had mine done in NJ Feb 15th and I'm telling you beside the great weight loss so far I just had my recent bloodwork come back and everything was normal I was shocked considering for the last 15 years it hasn't been and developed diabetes now it's all behind me. There will be some tuff days but believe me it's worth it congrats again.
  2. Congrats best of luck which hospital did you have the surgery sounds like you had a great surgeon
  3. Thanks GBlady I never tried the drinkable Oikos that's something I will try and yes I still love the Premier protein shakes there delicious I never get sick of them. I forgot to mention I also drink isopure zero carb protein drink in orange or grape I normally have half and cut it with water. Thanks for all your input. I'm wondering if I need to introduce a little fat into my diet. I have my 4 month follow up visit in a few weeks I will mention it. Thanks

  7. I understand completely thanks so much. I'm switching it up a bit I bought this Bariatric Oatmeal a few months ago I wasn't crazy about but I just had a packet it was very satisfying and high protein. Let's see I also started taking my Prilosec again this morning I hope this helps I can't take that hungry growling stomach. Best regards

  14. 3 months post op losing weight but stomach hungry all the time why? If I have a Premier protein drink it goes away but every few hours I'm hungry. I'm eating Oikos triple zero yogurt, Premier protein drinks, chicken or fish 4 ounces. No bread no pasta sticking with the program down about 70 lbs since Feb 15 but always hungry. I stopped taking Prilosec last month and have no issues with gerd. Thanks for any input. John
  15. I was so nervous I almost backed out it's not a big deal. Where are you having it done?
  16. Thank you best of luck to you also. I just checked my blood glucose after only having chicken broth and Powerade zero and plain Water and it was 187 I'm surprised. I haven't taken my Metformin since the 2/14/ I'm not sure if I should take the metformin or wait until tomorrow morning and check it again. Thanks again
  17. So I was sleeved on 2/15/17 and wasn't bad I used the pain pump twice. When I was released the next day we decided to stay near the hospital for another day or two. So that's when I went to lie down or get up I feel like I did 1000 push-ups and got kicked in the gut a few hundred times. Barely getting down the broth and water it's a bit discouraging. Then I had a low grade fever of 100.1 which seemed to go away with Tylenol. I have to inject Lovenox in my stomach to prevent blood clots. If anyone I know tells me I took the easy way out I might loose it. The site and smell of food gets me nausea. I read it gets better everyday [emoji120] Thanks in advance for any comments I'm a bit down and that's not me.
