If you suffer from constipation like I do (I'm 2 months post op), may I suggest taking a stool softener every day, Benefiber with your fluids, and a SQUATTY POTTY! The squatty potty has literally changed my life in the matter of a couple of days!

Thanks again for the feedback. Is Miralax something we can take post-op as well? If so, I will invest in some also.

@"AB2B", my doctor suggested Miralax for Post-op, and I started taking it day 2 Post op, as soon as I got home from the hospital. I was taking it every day for the first 2 weeks, but now I take it every other day, or every couple of days.

Miralax + at least 70 oz of Water works for me. Some people add Fiber to their food. Otherwise some people take collace.
