What was your pre op diet?

I am Scheduled for surgery on December 12 and have been on the pre op diet for two days now. Im just curious to know what everyones pre op diet was? My doctor gave me a list that said 3 protein shakes a day, ans then all of the fruit juice i can drink as long as no sugar added, all the broth i want, sugar free applesauce, pudding, and jello, and low fat cottage cheese and greek yogurt. I just want to know if that sounds like a normal pre op diet to anyone because i thought it would be just liquids and no fruitjuice. thank you

That is pretty much what my dr. said too.

Starting my pre-op diet on December 23rd. Mine consists of 3 Protein shakes and one small meal a day. My doctor suggested something like healthy choice or lean cuisine. I'm not sure if i can have sugar free popsicles, and Jello beforehand but I know I'm allowed to have them as part of my initial recovery diet.

I'm also supposed to be taking my Multivitamins. Doctor's office suggests Optisource. I'm going to take the full Bariatric fusion as it contains more nutrients.

Yikes guys I'm scheduled for the 7th and on liquid diet. 4 shakes Water and broth. Although the doctor said that the most important thing was to lose weight and to shrink liver. He seem to be very laid-back about it. I'm just scared I don't want anything to go wrong.
