Seriously 12 days out and not losing!

I know everyone is going to tell me I am crazy. I introduced soft foods on Friday and I have to say I don't feel as thought I am losing weight. Like come on, you have to be kidding me. I am bloated and actually gained a pound on Saturday and haven't lost it yet. Someone please tell me 11 days out they had this experience. Have to be kidding me, I don't want to be the ONE person this doesn't work for.

You are swollen and still recovering from major surgery.

None of us lose at a constant or steady rate. We all lose at different rates and just about everyone experiences a stall about three weeks after surgery.

Just follow your program. Focus on getting in all of your Protein and fluids. Take your Vitamins and supplements as directed. Exercise when cleared. Stay off the scale. And, Embrace the Stall

I have to agree with @@Inner Surfer Girl, you are still swollen and your body is recovering.

My experience was massive weight loss in the first 8 days and then a stall which lasted about 5. Also, I know this is TMI but I didn't poop until about day 10, so there are lots of things going on.

As long as you are following your program, your weight loss will pick up again

Good luck

My nutritionist made me promise today that I would not step on the scale in the first weeks after surgery except at the doctor's office. I will have a follow-up appointment 6 days after the surgery and then again 3 weeks after that. I'm going to try to keep to that promise. (Especially through the follow-up visit. And "try" being the operative word!)

I didn't even own a scale. My mom was in town- she bought one. Right there sitting in my bathroom. But honestly, I think Christy is right- I feel gross because I just need to poop. I am not hungry or complaining I am suffering trying to lose weight- just shocked I don't feel thinner because I am bloated.

Relax, walk when you can, eat right, and weigh in two weeks. ❤️
