I am going to stay on plan today cuz I am worth it. I am just in the beginging of my banding process but I have made the decision to continue to a healthier me. Cheers to protein shakes :wink2:

...because every time I drop another peice of my wardrobe onto the I-can't-fit-it-anymore-and never-will-again pile I feel FANTASTIC!!!

Because 3 more pounds will finally get me out of the 190's!

I am staying on plan today because:

(1) for the first time in 20 years, I feel IN CONTROL, and I love being in control, and

(2) because my insurance co. paid all but $250 of the cost of my surgery, and that is a gift I can only repay by changing my habits and the way I look at food.

Because my lapband anniversay is on 07/02/2009 and I want to have lost at least 60 pounds

Because I'm doing so well.......

Because I am 2 years out and I feel "funny" when people look at me expecting me to be SKINNY by now!!!!!

GRRRRR

I want to be an average sized woman (size 12/14). I am still in x-large top and 16 pants...frustrating!

I have to agree with the above. I am a year and a half out and My biggest achievement and my greatest thrill is I am NOT gaining anything. I am SLOWLY losing...and not gaining and that to me is the biggest win.

What I find amazing even when I gain a little weight after a vacation. It is still nothing compared to what I would of gained before the lapband.

And it feels really good to lose the weight again and not feel bad because of the momentary weight gain.

Now it is time to get back on track because I am so worth it.

I met someone today that I have not met for a year and used to be alot thinner then me. Now that person is alot larger then me.
