BBK - I really like this one. I liked the others too. I definately have decided this is something I will do for myself when I get to goal.

Renewedhope - if you find anyone, let me know. We're in the same area.:o

I would love to have some pin ups done when I reach goal. Do you have any idea where I might get them done in East Texas or Dallas area. How do I even go about finding a reputable person in my area to do it????

In such a big area it shouldn't be hard. I would first look on the web. That is where I found my 1st photographer. He had a myspace so I could ask girls he had worked with how he was. NEVER EVER go alone though! Always take a friend to "help" and keep you safe!

BBK you are amazing. So beautiful. And of course I love the red hair and my DH loves it too (since he is kinda partial to redheads anyways ) LOL I am definately listing this as one of my "rewards" for getting to goal. You are truly an inspiration and I don't just mean with the photos. Yours is one of the names I recognize with helpful comments and encouragement on this site. Thanks for all you do.

Wow you look great.

I had some done 15 years ago before I got too heavy and my DH Drooled over them and still does today. So when I reach my goal I want to do it again.

We have a studio here is St. Louis that does photos only of women in pin upstyle fashion. Its a husband and wife team that help with clothing picks; hair and make-up.

I had a ball doing it and can't wait to do it again.

Again you look great and give big inspiration to others.

I have to say I votedin your poll and said to wait until you hit your goal weight and have your TT.

But you look fabulous and can only improve from here. How do you improve on Fabulous.

Oh I would recommend them to anyone. I am very pleased by the photos taken 15 years ago. their website is

::Apple Studio Photography St. Louis MO::

It gives a few samples of the photos they take. They are very tasteful but sexy. The price isn't too bad either for what you get. The pictures are beautiful.

A friend of mine had some done too, and hers were gorgeous as well. I wish I had them on a disk so I could post it. I'll have to try and scan one and see if I can post it.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
