  1. Hi Everyone I´ve had an up and down summer/fall. Went from 9.8 to 10.2, and that was bad, so they took me back to 9.6 for about 6 weeks, then tried 10.1, nope. Was coughing and when I talked it sounded like I needed to clear my throat. So back to 9.6 for another 6 weeks. Then to 9.8 and was able to eat too much. Now I´m at 10 since last Thursday. Was doing pretty good, but had bronchitis, and went into a coughing fit yesterday morning and vomited 3 times before going to work. :eek:It really hurt. So put a call in to the nurse, by the time she was able to make contact with me, things had calmed. It took most of the day to get down a 17 oz bottle of water, but by the evening I could do chicken broth s-l-o-w-l-y. Today much better than yesterday. On full liquids today. Hoping this will work for me, cause otherwise I´m going to have to go back to 9.8, and am afraid that´s all my body can tolerate. Anyway, hoping three times is the charm!
  2. Kinda surprised me about Daniel too. Really like Green team thus far. Still early days. Coach Mo is from nearby here, am hoping to see better things from him. A side note, when I weigh in each week, if I have a week where I gain a pound, my husband will say, "but at least you didn´t fall below the yellow line!" That´s the good thing about Lapband surgery, we never get voted off =)
  3. Good for you!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. We didn´t have Zumba this week, and boy could I tell the difference!
  5. Hi Everyone, well I´ve been kinda slow too. But was surprised when the hospital where I had the surgery has me to do a photo shoot! Thought you might like to see. CMH.pdf
  6. O dear! What did you find out? Any better now?
  7. I´m about as uncoordinated as can be, and well just smile and move around! When first went, I thought, "hmmm I´m still the biggest girl here, BUT I´m having more fun than anyone!"
  8. I don´t have lymphaedma, but at one of the offices where I work the Therapist is a lymphadema specialist. Sometimes we see people for 1 1/2 hours everyday for 4-6 weeks.
  9. Finally found a Zumba Class. Tonight was my first class. Wow what a workout! Loads of fun! Now, wondering if I will be able to get out of bed tomorrow morning..
  10. Hey Apple, sounds like you´re too tight. Not sure about you, but when I get stressed or nervous my band gets tighter.
  11. Dear Kygie I´m so sorry about your assault, and for all the problems you have had to endure. Welcome back here, and please let us know if there is a way we can best support you.
  12. That is very interesting about your estrogen levels. We are so what are hormones dictact! Glad you came back too. We need all the support we can get!:w00t:
  13. Wow, do you know why you´re having your cycle so frequently? Sure hope you can get some relief. I know it´s disappointing when the scale doesn´t move much. I´ve had mono the last few months, so exercise has been about NIL. Keep us posted please.
  14. Have you talked to the DR or Bariatric Coordinator? It has taken me a long time to get good restriction. I have a 14cc APL.
