Hi all so glad I found this uk section. As I'm getting confused. I had surgery here in UK self pay my bmi was 30 I had surgery at alixandra bmi hospital I did all my own recerch before deciding on surgery than rang hospital and was given a surgery date in 2 weeks time, after surgery I was given a small print out with not much info and my first follow up appointment was for in 6 weeks time. So I have turned to this forum for most info. Which has litrally been a life saver.
Now after seeing my doctor and dietician there advice is so different from what I'm reading on here, I understand all plans are different but my dietician stuck her nose up when I mentioned this forum, and said " I bet all they talk about is protine ha ha" then went on to advising me to eat crackers, I'm just confused, dont we all have the same needs and are bodys need the same nutrients, etc
So I was just wondering does anyone who had surgery in the UK find there plan so diffrent to others.
Thanks
