  1. Hi everyone I'm 10 months post op gastric sleeve. Had mine at KCM Poland. Best thing I've ever done in my life. Could not be anymore happier. Anyways, it wasn't an easy journey and I know how it feels like to need support along the way so if there's anything I can help with/answer. Please, go ahead and ask me. :-)

    Sleeved in November

Hi I used to live in Essex but had my surgery in Poland. Don't worry about it at all. It will be painless. You'll feel a bit tired a few days after but that's all okay and with the support of your closed ones, believe me you'll be fine and by the end of the month, you'll thank yourself for having made what will be, the best decision in your life! :-) All the best with your surgery. Rosie, did you suffer from hair loss? And what did you take to prevent it? I stopped my Vitamins from the second month and I've been suffering from extreme hair loss from the 3rd month. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Happy for you, Rosie! ???? My sleeping schedule is messed up. Sleeping all day and staying up all night. As a result, I'm eating all night and barely moving. I'll go back to work in week or so, therefore, I'm planning to commit and join a gym to do strength training. I also want to play tennis and learn Bollywood dances for fun :-p Going out to restaurants is so hard. I don't enjoy it at all and it's a challenge especially when I'm out with family members or friends who don't know I had the sleeve and eventually are shocked at how little I can eat now. :-) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Hahahaha! My God...the number of ugly colored clothes I have thrown away are unbelievable! I'm so happy knowing that I don't need to buy ugly clothes anymore just because they fit and knowing that I have a choice to create my own style! :-) I'm so happy for these triumphs that we made! It really feels great! :-) Keep going hard, Rosie! ???? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    New and wanting a sleeve

I didn't have at in the uk as it was expensive so abroad in Poland and honestly even if I had that money I still wouldn't. I mean it's true that it's a major surgery but it's an easy one + you don't get pain. Don't worry about after care because you will be fine. Take someone along with you. Do your research on the surgery and believe me you'll be fine. I stayed in the clinic first two nights then a hotel because really you don't need to stay more at the clinic! Because you'll be totally fine and able to walk and move and talk. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I'm doing good. Left the uk and came back home two weeks ago. For the first week, I didn't feel like eating but now my appetite has increased like crazy like I can't stop eating! :-) I have no idea why. But I think because of the new acid pills + low Water intake. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Sleeve soon!

Hello everyone I'm sure some of you are familiar with my visa-story. Anyways, I finally got one and travelling in 10 days to KCM, Poland. I don't feel anything. I mean I don't wanna get too excited. I was scheduled for surgery in April and was excited and ready then it didn't happen so I'm wishing so hard this time it all goes according to plan. I'll be going alone. Scary kind of but that's my only option. I was supposed to start my pre op diet 3 days ago but haven't yet and I will start tomorrow :-) I will order Vitamins online. I have no clue which kinds and which ones to get. I would greatly appreciate any advice from you. And should I get like the chewable ones? Or normal ones since I'll be able to swallow after like 2 weeks post surgery. Also, I will order Protein powder. A plant-based one since I'm allergic to dairy, whey, and casein. I will pack my bag lightly. Just a few leggings, t-shirts, and such. Wish I could bring my laptop as I need to be working on my research but it's too heavy to carry + I don't think I'll be able to concentrate well. Anyways, if you could please give me advice on the whole thing and whether I missed a thing. These days I'm busy 24/7 as I'm trying to write a lot on my research so I can recover well after surgery without having to stress about it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I'm doing good. Trying to maintain the 60-80 grams of protein and drink 2-3 litres of water. Still no junk food, bread or pasta! Yay! So proud of myself. Weight is coming off slow. I'm not weighting in, just seeing by my clothes. Trying to work out every two or 3 days. Will probably join a gym next month! Can't wait till I'm 5 months post-op Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

3 days post op Gastric bypass

Hi. I had sleeve surgery. From what I know and experienced, pain in the ribs and body after surgery is usually due to CO2 in the body after surgery and is gone by walking and moving around. I threw a huge bag today full of baggy clothes that are too big for me! I was also shocked that I was able to fit perfectly in a size 16 jeans! I'm so proud of myself of doing the surgery abroad by myself while also working on my master's dissertation! I'm also proud that I still didn't give in all the terrible chocolate and junk food temptations! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Sleeve soon!

I left home today at 10 am, went to university and stayed working until 6 then hung out with my friends than went to tesco and just came home around 10 pm. Feeling very very very tired and exhausted with a terrible headache. I know I didn't eat well today and didn't reach my Protein levels. So maybe that's why? I wonder when will I be able to go out normally with my friends all day and have fun like normal people... Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Snannapuss You remind me of myself a few weeks ago. I was so depressed. Crying all day and staying in my friend's bed regretting the surgery. She used to tell me that it's all mental and in my mind and I'm like this because I'm depressed but I didn't know how to fix that. Eventually, changing the place I'm in had cured it for me. It will pass. You'll be fine. Walk as much as you can. It really does help. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Sleeve soon!

Snannapuss From my experience: manage to drink at least two liters of Water a day. Finish your Protein drinks. Aim to reach at least 40-60 grand of protein a day. Protein will give you energy and won't make you feel tired. Another thing that has helped me is Tuc biscuits. I chew them very well and swallow them. After only two, I feel full and energised. They're just normal biscuits with salt. I found that the salt is good if you feel dizzy. The other important thing is Vitamins. I had a major depression after my surgery and I only felt better when I have moved out of my ugly residence (in campus) to my spacious and comfortable friend's home. Sleeve soon!

Hello everyone I'm doing pretty good now. I tried to have sliced carrots yesterday but it was almost a near-death experience as I felt! Maybe because I only poured hot water on them and not boil them! Anyways, I'm hoping to ditch my protein powder in the next few weeks and start having protein bars. Do you think it's going to be safe to have them? I'll be one month post op next week, 30 August. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
