People who didn't loose that much pre-op. Please let me know

One week from today I have surgery and today was my preop - with the exception of 2 spoonfuls of pb butter and 2 broccoli florets I've been excellent on the liquid diet. So I was hoping for a big number today .... 3 pounds ish - that's it!! I was totally jaded and thought "great ~is this a thing of signs to come"- trust me I have weight to loose

- felling a little salty

- been on preop for 9 days

- been on ketogenic diet during medical supervised and lost 6 lbs total

I lost 1 lb in my 1st month of supervised weight loss. I felt defeated but my NUT told me not to worry that I will lose after surgery. I still have my doubts.

I had such an amazing food funeral between seeing my surgeon for the last time and starting 2 weeks pre-op that I put on about 10 lbs. Can't believe it really. Anyway, I did lose that additional weight over the 2 weeks but it did mean that to all appearances I hadn't lost a thing.
