Diarrhea during first few days after being sleeved...Normal?

Help! I was sleeved on Monday 5/2 and have had diarrhea the past 2 days. I've read that constipation is normal due to all the protein we take in, but why am I having this? Is it normal??

Liquid in, liquid out. Normal. I have been drinking a protein shake daily since I was sleeved in '10 never had constipation issues.

Thank you. I don't want to deal with either one. Lol

Wooooohoooooooooo...

Poo stories!!!

Enjoy the 'freedom' while you can...

The 'bound' period will come at some stage...

All part of the fun!!!

I was severely constipated after the surgery. I drank some warm prune juice with miralax and that worked like a charm. Since then, I do not trust a fart. Man o' man. From one extreme to the other. I cannot wait to eat some solids.

Yes!! What Kinda said. Enjoy it while it lasts. Soon, you will be missing these days.

Thanks everyone! Hope it's better tomorrow! Gonna take a walk outside. Tired of being in the house. It's been raining since my surgery here in nj. Don't want any "accidents" while I'm out! [emoji15]

Anytime I go back to the liquid diet, which I do every so often to bust through a stall.....I experience diarrhea.

It just seems to be part of the deal.

You've been on liquids for a few weeks now and that's likely all it is.
