Hi guys!
First, Congrats to everyone who made the choice to have the sleeve. My question is how soon where you told you can have soft solids? I've been on liquids 3 weeks and I'm struggling to get enough calories in.
I'm trying to understand the logic in only being able to have liquids, but being ok to take super solid pain killers, multi-Vitamins, etc.
If we're told that it could create a leak, why can't the pills and vitamins create a leak? The bariatric nurses themselves gave me solid pain killers (Vicodin) to take.
I had my surgery exactly a week ago, April 28 in Miami, Florida. I feel well, haven't had any nausea and have been able to tolerate all liquids I've had. I'm very grateful!!!
