Google plantar fasciitis. Think that might be your problem. I have it in my left foot and it can be agonising. Even having lost weight it hasn't gone. In fact, I think because I walk so much now it isn't getting a chance to heal. Capsicum gel seems to be the best remedy for it and I get it here in the UK from Amazon. Hope this helps.

Is it worse when you first get up? Plantar fasciitis is terribly painful but can be treated. Mine is gone.

Burning might be neuropathy....can you describe it a bit more?

Either condition warrants a doc visit.

Awaiting blood work results...must drink more water...it's hard but I try my best.I went to my doctor for a referral...she had on a new pair of Nike sneakers and lectured me on walking barefoot and...shoes etc....She claims suffered from the same thing...insoles etc...I must admit I was a bit pissed...I will o back in a week as it persists...:-/

If blood work is okay...I would go to a Podiatrist or Foot Specialist. You may need a cortisone shot. They should also xray to see if you have a heel spur. Sneakers did not help me. After the cortisone shots (needed more than 1) - I did well when wearing a high flip flop with a 1 1/2 inch wedge or a nurses clog like shoe when necessary (if I couldn't get away with flip flops). Also I find Merrell hikers work well instead of a normal sneaker. I also got a brace/boot to wear at night to keep my foot at a certain angle. I hope something works for you - it sure is miserable!

My plantar fasciitis has reocurred(mild), I had forgotten I do experience some burning sensation with it. Going barefoot and wearing crappy non supportive ( but cute!) Shoes is exactly what triggers a recurrence for me.

So try never going barefoot including getting out of bed! I also rolled my foot over a cold soda pop can. Stretches and brings down inflammation. It took months to fix the initial occurrence and I do get mild flareups whenever I go back to my barefoot ways.

Here in the UK I wear FitFlops a lot but have discovered Sketchers recently. They are so light and comfortable and great fun for us girls of a certain age. Apparently they are NOT cool for teenagers! My PF comes and goes in various painful episodes but walking around in bare feet does me no favours at all. I need to shove my feet into something which, now that the British weather is showing signs of dawdling into spring is not something I want to always do. I love traipsing around with no socks and shoes on. I'm hooked on a capsicum gel called Perskindol which I got through Amazon, although I'm pretty sure that in the States you have a much larger selection that you can get from pharmacies, and it works wonders. I got it for my builder husband's sore bits but have purloined it for myself. Brilliant stuff for us footsore people.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
