Found a great new alternative to ice cream!

Anyone else tried this yet? It is actually pretty good and the sugars and carbs are pretty low. post-250678-14456463412932_thumb.jpgpost-250678-14456463517136_thumb.jpg

One word...yuk!

Try putting a frozen banana they the blender with some cocoa powder. Or chocolate PB powder.

Bananas are crazy high in sugar.

Halo top lemon cake is the best... It was my favorite pre-op diet "treat".

Frozen blueberries in bowl, covered with nonfat vanilla yogurt (that then freezes on to the blueberries). Within a few minutes it is a frozen yummy delight. I pass three ice cream or frozen custard stores on my way home and the thought of this treat waiting for me gets me driving right by them.

That and the frozen custard made me throw up the first time I tried it post-sleeve. Too much fat I think. Frozen blueberries and yogurt rule! :P

I found some great ice cream bars called enlighten. http://www.eatenlightened.com/ check them out.

How do they taste?

Heavenly :-) They did a great job with these bars. I like the sea salt caramel ones the best.
