What did your FEET do?

  • Popular Post

This is a huge NSV for me. I've always had big feet for a girl. Kind of embarrassed about it especially because I'm only 5'6 ish.

My brother used to make fun of me and call me Saskwatch!! So mean ????????????

Anyway, at a size 9.5 my feet were already above average. When I gained weight, they grew to a size 10.5!!! ????????????????. Almost 11!!

Oh. My. God. The horror!!

Anyway. I've lost 130 pounds. And I now wear a size 9!!!!! Yes!!!!

Thank you vsg for saving my feet. And no foot pain either!!

Plantar fascitis has been inactive since my surgery. I am down from 10 to 9.5 and that's at 4 weeks out! Hoping for at least another 1/2 size.

Mine too!

Oh my goodness, I don't think I realized that my terrible foot pain had to do with my weight until reading all of your comments! my surgery's in a week. hallelujah! I may get rid of all my foot pain too!!!

I went from a 9.5-10 to an 8-8.5. I had to get all new shoes. I still haven't purchased any boots.

I didn't make the connection between my previous foot pain and weight either. Hmmm. Interesting!

bellabloom, I agree about the 'inflammation related to the high sugar diet'. I am just on my pre-op low carb diet right now and my feet already feel better than they have in a year.

I was a 9 before I got pregnant with my son. With that pregnancy, my feet went to a size 10. I hope and pray that they will get smaller too after surgery!!

It's incredible what a salty diet and high sugar diet does to your body. If I eat junk food one day my rings doesn't fit and a gain 3 pounds in water weight. Imagine eating that way every day!! Now I understand why I was so bloated and puffy before.

As of this morning I've lost exactly 100 pounds. Woot!

And my shoe size hasn't changed one bit. Just goes to show nothing about this journey is completely predictable.

;)
