  2. Hi, congrats on making that step that will change your life. I am 65 and in August I'll be 1 year out. I am off my insulin and I can walk again without my legs giving out. I have 6 grandkids all under the age of 8. I know my surgery was a blessing and I know yours will be too.
  3. Does sliming just involve vomiting or can it be diarrhea?

  14. I'm off my insulin and only take 1 metformin. Don't give up.
  15. I went from a 7 to a 6 in a shoe.
  16. I went from a size 22 to a 16 in 5 months. I can cross my legs. I can pick up things on the floor. I can put on socks and tie my shoes. Still hard. But Im felling great.
  17. Hey I'lol be 65 on Feb. 1st. I was sleeved 8/5/2015. I'm about 4 months out and have lost 57lbs. Thanksgiving and Christmas were hard but I survived. I exercise an hour a day on a recumbent bike. I have so much energy now and can do so many things I couldn't do before. I can walk anywhere now. Before I could barely walk from my house to the car. It's slow but I'm determined to do it. I've gone from a size 22 to a size 14/16. My only problem is hair loss. I'm taking my biotin. Hope it all doesn't fall out. I am also off my insulin. Amazing. Who says you're too old. I feel like I'm young again.
  18. Try powdered chocolate Premier mix with 2% milk and blend with ice cubes. It's the best tasting I have found. Try P3 protein packs in refrigerator section. Example( Turkey, cheese, nuts). Adds protein. Good luck.
  19. I got the gummies. My biotin melts in my mouth. I only swallow my thiamin. I take a b12 shot once a month. The citrical comes in gummies. The one a day comes in gummies. Kind of like eating candy.
  20. Congrats on your loss. I was sleeved on August 5th. I am 64 years old. I have lost 53 lbs. I feel so much better. I can walk distances again. I ride my recumbent bike an hour a day. Does anybody know a good recipe web sight? I need some ideas on things to eat. Thanks!
  21. I am 64. I was sleeved on Aug.5, 2015. I have lost 40 lbs. but I am stuck on 40. It is frustrating. My biggest problem is constipation. I am drinking my water. I have also tried Milk of Magnesia and Miralax. It has not worked. Can I eat bran flakes? How do I get som fiber? Help!
  22. I was on 1200 cal for 3 months. Then 2 weeks liquids, 1 week clear liquids, and 4 more weeks of full liquids. 1 and 1/2 week to go. I'm 3 weeks out and I'm stuck T 34 lbs.
  23. I am 3 weeks and I am stuck. It's very frustrating.
  24. I was sleeved last week, Aug.5,2015. I can't believe I did it. I'm still on clear liquids. Go to Dr. Thurs.,Aug. 13th. Hope to move to full liquids then. Lost 20 lbs. pre-op. Lost 2 or 3 since. Doing well. Be better when I get off clear liquids. Oh forgot to say I do not need insulin at this point and down 2 blood pressure pills. It's nice to be on the other side.
