Welcome.

I tried avocado today. I smashed it up with some onions, Tomato, lemon juice, salt and pepper. I am not supposed to have raw veggies or fruits unless very soft. I thought they were, but my sleeve fought back a little. I could feel it trying to come back up. I paired it with about 1.5 oz of tuna. It was good, but I will make sure I smash it a bit more and eat it sparingly.

Have you guys downloaded the BARITASTIC app? I downloaded it to my cell phone. It is free. They have a couple of convenient timers to use when you can drink before and after, Vitamin reminders, and they have been texting me some motivating messages.

post-255097-14461725537289_thumb.jpg so I put some effort into my dinner tonight this is a concoction I layered the bottom with sour cream and avocado and the meat mixture has white Beans ground beef some canned tomatoes garlic salt pepper some cilantro etc. You can see the tiny ass container that I'm using and I'm still barely able to finish it but tonight I made myself finish it because I know I'm not eating enough it was good but I still got the Burpee feeling in my chest which is annoying I'm still probably going to fast I don't know. I feel OK I don't feel like it's going to come back up but I really need to work on getting more in me because I know I won't lose weight if I'm starving

I had a cup of coffee today. Black no sugar or cream. It was kind of like I am getting back to somewhat normal.

My sleeve has tried soft, steamed broccoli and a little bit of yellow squash/zucchini I cooked in the slow cooker with a pork roast. The sleeve tolerated it. The amounts were very small. I have had some raw veggies and my sleeve is not tolerating them as well.

Sorry it is not agreeing. What did you try?

@@retrieverguy I think I tried some carrots too with the zucchini. Yes, I would try and limit them for now.

Have you been going to work or is this your first day back?

i would take a cup cake and have a bite or two if i was closer to goal lol.

im going back to Protein shakes for a little while. it's the easiest thing to count and i don't feel well most of the time so it doesn't bother me not to eat food right now.

dinner sat fine. i had cinnamon tea later on last night and that was nice. i always feel icky in the morning but that's due to my inherent stomach issues that i had before surgery. so i chew my dreaded Vitamins and Calcium. then take a pepcid. then wait for things to settle. today im having a Protein shake for Breakfast and i'll have yogurt later cuz i think it actually helps with digestion.

in other news im wearing someone i haven't worn in a while so i'll use that as my motivation to continue and not be upset that i don't feel well cuz i really don't care that much truth be told. least i'm losing.

i haven't tried veggies. nor do i miss veggies lol. i will start using cauliflower soon to make some of the lowcarb stuff i used to make (fried "rice" and "pizza") but haven't tried it yet.

have a great day everyone. xo

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
