Only 11 lbs! ???? and constipation

Im more than 2 weeks post op and ive only lost 11 lbs. ive been walking everyday and following the diet plan. Just started the puree phase and it just doesnt seem right. Other people ive seen like double the weight loss in the same amount of time. Am i doing something wrong? I also have been drinking miralax and have not had a bowel movement in almost a week ugh its so frustrating and uncomfortable. A week post op i was down 13 lbs from pre op then i gained 2 lbs how is that possible? Im so annoyed????

@@newnewme4, I've had around 12 pounds as well and I feel like I've cut back my eating and that the weight should be pouring off. I know I need to bump up my water intake as I'm usually hitting around 40oz. Let's hope our bodies are trying to figure out what the heck is going on! Hang in there!

that's about what I lost the first couple of weeks - and then I hit the infamous "three week stall". How quickly you lose depends on so many factors - your age, gender, how much weight you have to lose, whether or not you lost weight pre-op (some people lose their "Water weight" *before* surgery), how muscular you are, etc. You can't really compare yourself to others, although I know it's hard not to. I wouldn't worry about it at all, though. I'd say 11 lbs for the first two weeks is definitely in the normal range.

When you undergo surgery and recovery in the hospital, they pump your body with fluids. As a result when you leave the hospital, you tend to weigh more than when you went in.
