get sick with cold same day as fill

it's been a year and a half since my last fill well after gaining 40lbs i went back to my dr.and he measured it and gave me a small fill that day i had a sore throat and didn't think much of it cause sometimes when it happens it goes a way in a day or two and im fine well it is worse today and i don't feel good so it must be a cold . i cant drink or eat i only managed to drink a small gatorade and i sipped on it most of the day tried coffee and hot tea nothing helps i just pb it.my question is how long should i stick this out i am thinking a day or two if it don't improve at all

My doctor says go back immediately as leaving it too long can result in swelling, also if you aren't getting fluids you will dehydrate and likely to collapse! Its amazing how even .2 mls can make the difference!

Call your doctor! If you need to have a little taken out you can always have a little put back in later. Don't risk an overly-tight band and all the issues that could arise. Hope you feel better soon --having a cold is no fun but if it's also making your band too tight then you must be miserable. Make the call and put those medical professionals to work -- that's what they are there for.
