Christian sleevers any the just had...

Recommended Posts

Wooooow......I have been on this site for a while and I just found this group. I too am a Christian and grew up believing that I should include God in every decision I make. I prayed for this and asked God if it's not for me give me a sign. Well since I started this journey everything has been smooth sailing. After finishing my requirements I was approved by my insurance the same day it was submitted. My surgery is set for December 10. I know that was nobody but God. I thank him for his constant presence in my life. I love that this forum exist especially for believers. God bless everyone in their journey ????????.

Amen I did the same ... I'm now almost 8 weeks out. The surgery is a battle itself.. I enjoy it some days and the others days could be better .. I keep God first and thank him everyday... God bless you as well and welcome too the club you won't regret it

Hi everyone. My surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning. I will be inviting God in that OR with me and praying that He guides the doctor and blesses me with an uncomplicated and speedy recovery. If you all would pray for me too, I would greatly appreciate it.

I pray that God blesses and keeps each of you.

Hi everyone, I hope it's not too late to join this thread.

I haven't had surgery yet. I meet with dietician and surgeon in a week.

I feel that surgery is a tool like everyone is saying.

But the Bible says to be moderate, to not be given to appetite..

If the sleeve helps me to be and obedient and disciplined daughter of God, then PRAISE the Lord!!!! Right?

God Bless,

Heidi

@@lachellove - thx for the prayers. I am 8 days out today. Today I am feeling much better. I had a couple of complication, but it was due to anesthesia, not the actual surgery. I have never done well with anesthesia. Really makes me nauseous, no matter what they give me to combat it. But I hope that is in the past and each day is better than the last.

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
