Shareefa: same scenario here. I'm waiting at hospital now to have band out & revision to sleeve. Nervous but ready to get it over with. Good new is that I lost 14# in 11 days!!

Best of luck to you!

Shareefa and Paigem.

I pray your surgery goes well and you are back on the road to success again.

Well it went! They were 1.5 hours late taking me back. It actually helped me to calm down and take it all in. I hate shots and I was the most upset about getting a blood thinning shot into my belly!!

Seeing the operating room was pretty cool. Reminded me of the show my 600pound life. I fell asleep real quick.

Coming out of surgery, the nausea and gas pains are real. Take the pain meds and try to rest. They take your vitals like every 2 hours so not an easy task, but yeah. I took a couple walking stints to try to help relieve it, but the meds worked better.

I can drink water pretty easily!! That's what I was most nervous about!!

All in all, not too bad. Except for being up at 430am lol

Hi! My name is Casey, this is my first post here, but thought I'd jump in! I'm scheduled to be sleeved on Dec. 31st ????

I am also December 31st. We can DO THIS!

I saw my dr on Dec 1 for my pre-op appointment. After about a week I called my insurance to see if they had any info. They said the Drs office hadn't submitted my info to them. Come to find out my pre certification process changed with my insurance on Dec 1st and the Drs submitted it to the wrong cert department. The old department couldn't transfer to the new company because of Hippa. Ugh. I frantically called my dr (I'm starting my pre-op diet on Monday 21st) for them to re-submit my info to the correct pre cert department. Thankfully less than 24hrs later I have been approved.. Shew!! Starting the pre-op diet being approved is going to make it so much easier (in my mind)

Woo hoo! Early Christmas present for me

I'm joining the December party! I just got scheduled for the 31st. I'm terribly excited & getting nervous.

I'm in Portland, OR

I am waiting to hear back on insurance approval. I start my liquid 7 days on Sunday. I have been trying to practice liquids only and learned there cannot be anything to eat in the house that is tasty!
