Is it normal not to go for a #2 for a few days?

I'm 12 days out from surgery, after the 4th day i started going daily but the last time i went was Thursday, is this normal? i have no cramps or pains, dont even feel like going. Got an appointment with my Surgeon on Tuesday so will ask him then if still not been.

Sorry for the crappy subject......

See what i did there.....

I have been debating on a softener because my stools are so hard now. I need to see if there are any natural ways to do this first!
