Kensington, they were checking me for acid reflux. Which I haven't had in 13 years. Hopefully you won't need it.

Thanks. It makes sense they need the study to map their path during the procedure and rule out other issues. Thank you!

My consult day was 5/20, I was 275lbs... today 6/29... I'm 278... I've been eating like a mad cow... because I quit smoking on 5/28. I'm almost too the point where cigarettes don't phase me, but the habit of eating is a habit I don't need. 3lbs isn't bad.

I finally got my date....August 10th. Requested the Insur admin at the office to check with the hospital for possible dates and it was available...Yeah! I really wanted to have is done before my kids went back to school. Now all I have is the last Nutritional visit on July 10th, then submit to insurance for approval. My Endoscopy is scheduled for July 17th.

I had a year program ???? I graduate September 30th. Fingers crossed I'll be sleeved early October.

Do you all get free Protein powder samples? If so, how? Please share where I can sign up for a variety of samples.

I emailed info@bariatricchoice.com and they sent me a link to order free samples.

One step closer... I have my psych eval tomorrow and I'm nervous. Haha, I worry that he'll see a need for more visits. Yikes! Then 3rd Nut visit on the 6th and only 1 left! Aug 31 would be perfect for me. Fingers crossed.

Time is getting closer for all of us. Seems like such a long road. But very very worth it. 6 months seems so long, but saw where someone else on here had to wait a year. I ordered the injury sample pack and Vitamins. Anxious to try. I've not cared for any pre mixes yet, but need more selection for variety.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
