I am going to do my coffee bc I am dying for some. I've been so good with everything but Decaf is in no way doing it for me. All in moderation. One cup a day.

I would think that if your stomach handled the Decaf okay then you should be fine. Just drink an extta6 glass of Water.< /p>

I'm starved. Like super hungry and this has not even remotely been me this past week. I've gotten in all my Protein, drank a TON of fluids, it had broth, SF Jello and pudding today. Is this my body telling me it's ready for stage 4?? I wouldn't do until I. Speak with my center but that won't be till tmrw now, I just kept drinking. Not all at once. I'll do a cpl Oz make sure the pouch is OK and then I wait ten min or so and drink more... Wth can I do??!

I am somewhat envious. I am only allowed full liquids, like my pre-op diet, and the shakes are making me sick. I have to take nausea meds to get them down so I can make my 60g. If I can't show I can get it in then they will not release me to the next stage on Monday. Remember that warm things make our stomachs feel more full than cold things. Drink some more Coffee! Lol

Great minds bc this coffee is FREAKING delish! They consider Jello a liquid, if not I would be screwed bc it kinda tricks my mind that I'm getting more in bc I have more consistency with it.

@@OregonTeacher, are you near a GNC? This is the ONLY way I've reached my Protein goal... There is a Liquid Protein called Isopure. I got 'Alpine Punch' which is like fruit Punch. It is 11.3oz but packs 40g of protein in it. I pour it in a glass, MIX Fruit Punch Crystal Lite with it and then add ice. I let it all dilute a bit and let me tell you it is just DELICIOUS! If you don't do the other two steps, the initial taste is ok but the after taste is blah like an aspertain taste... I strongly urge you try this so you can be lifted to your next stage as this was my last option otherwise they would've kept me another two weeks this upcoming Thursday if I didn't find a solution as well.

Good advice! I will get my husband to look and see if our GNC sells it. I am definitely getting desperate! right now I am sitting here drinking beef consomme because it has 5 grams of Protein in it and its something different.

We need to do whatever works! Even Google the brand and see if a local store near you carries it. I promise you won't regret it and will be taking in 60g in no time.

Thank you. Sounds yummy. I'll take a look at our market and see if they carry it.

I am about 10 weeks post-op. I started drinking regular coffee a few weeks ago. I usually make one 16oz. cup in the morning. I use fat free coffee mate Creamer. I sip on it all morning and most of the time I don't finish the whole cup. I switch to Water after that. I haven't had any problems yet but I only allow myself that one cup a day.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
