May 19th was my day! I had two week liquid diet before hand!

Hello nuzzelbear. Welcome to the May thread. How is it going so far for you ? Are you on soft / purée foods or have you moved to regular food. The 2 week liquid diet prior to surgery was rough. Congrats on your surgery and here's to being a thinner you !

Weighed myself this morning , I am down 8 pounds this week. I only weigh once a week on Tuesday mornings. Feeling good. ????

Congratulations ❤️

Hello nancynew, things are going pretty well, I had some anotomy difficulties for the doctor to work around during surgery, this made the surgery take twice as long. My stomach emptied on the opposite side of where it should. But all went well, and the surgery has been successful so far. Today is 4 weeks post op for me, 31 lbs down from surgery.

@@nancynew I am on soft foods as of today, and doing well so far there as well. I lost 20lbs before the pre op liquid diet as it was required to get surgery, then 20 lbs on liquid diet and now 31. So 71 lbs total! Me on December 6th and on June 2nd!

Welcome!!!! :) I am Jenn! A girl who is sometimes too busy to be on this app because of work and college!

I had my surgery May 11th, the RNY.

I am a month and 5 days down and I went from 330 to 285 :) been losing slower now, but it's still so exciting!

@@imjenn Nice to meet you Jenn, congrats on your losses so far, and keep plugging away at work and school, I remember how rough those days were, I could not have imagined doing this surgery back then so I commend you on your strength!

Well I'm officially out of the 300's ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I hit 289 this morning ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I'm gonna ride the high as long as I can. Clothes fit way better, and yesterday was 6 weeks post-op, so working out on Bowflex and other weight lifting, went great... And my ab workout on exercise ball was perfect too... Good luck to you guys... Keep it up...

I don't know why some of my smiley faces turned into that symbol.
