April 22 surgery date. Anybody else?

So- I have been approved for April 22. I just wondered if anybody else has the same time? We could keep in touch, because, I'm a little scared...but more than anything, excited! Start preop diet one week from today.

One week guys....only one week until it's our turn!!! How's everyone doing on their pre-op diet? I'm 11 lbs down after the 1st week of all liquids which helps with the non-ability to eat anything lol. Though it hasn't been too bad :)

I'm scheduled 4/23, anyone else going to Mexico? I'll be with Dr. Rodriguez.

Just had my surgery with Dr Rodrigues on April 11th in Juarez. He and his team are amazing. Only thing is that the nursing staff does not speak a lot of English so if you download a translator app on your phone it makes it a lot easier to communicate. I'm only a few days post op and feeling great.
That's great ! Thanks for the advice ! Any issues going through Juarez ? Did you feel safe ?

Hi, no issues at all crossing into Mexico. It was quite the wait going across into Mexico, very busy place that boarder crossing. I did feel really safe the whole time. They even have a 24 hour security guard on the floor (I was on second floor). My husband came with me and he even went out to the mall across the street and did not feel unsafe at all.

That's good to hear !! Iv been a little worried after reading how bad things were a few years ago ! It's a little overwhelming when you consider everyone worries about surgery, but add flying across the country, crossing into a foreign country in a town once known as the most dangerous city in the world and it's a little stressful !! Lol

Let me know how everything goes!

My surgery date is on 22nd April too. That's 2 more days for me. How are you guys doing on your pre-op liquid diet?

We're hanging in there! I pray that you're doing well! You're sleeved by now! When you're feeling up to it, please let me know how you're doing!

Nervous!

Hi everyone! How's everybody doing? I'm 2nd day post op and had been in SICU for close monitoring. The first 2 days I experience severe heartburn and lots of vomiting. Today I feel so much better and have been able to walk around and do some exercises. Currently in the process of being transferred to general ward right now. I pray for everyone to have a speedy recovery. Keep going strong!

Hi there.

I had my sleeve done yesterday. I'm from the UK, but travelled to Czech Republic. One day out... I feel really sick and tired. How are you all? X

Had my surgery april 21st! Feeling pretty good for the most part. Hope everyone else is too!

Im 2days post op went home the next day because i did excellent I had my surgery on the 23rd! Woke up shaking and in a bad mood from a little pain. Went to sleep few hours later I felt better! Been good very since just a little sore! ....

I was sleeved yesterday and overall I feel ok. I have done a lot of walking and seem to be in ok shape. A little soar and the gas pain is the worst. I hope this gas pain is not permanent its so uncomfortable.
