  2. You look awesome!! Kudos for your success!
  3. Sorry to hear of your difficulties. Something that was happening to me (the vomiting) be sure that you are chewing everything good. I chew for about 25-30 times to make sure it's broken up-- where I'm taking 30 minutes. I don't vomit as much as I once was.
  4. I'm only a month out, and while out of town-- I had salmon. It went down good or so I thought. But then, I started to feel bad in my chest--( while at airport), I began to walk to bathroom, then run as I felt it coming up! It all came back up. It may not yet be time for fish after one month!

  6. Sarahbeth, wanted to know if you have any tips or special things you did. I feel as though I'm at a plateau already, just had sleeve on 4/23, on surgery date was 265, today at 252.8, I'm walking 2.5 miles at least 4x a week.. Not eating over 500-600 calories a day. Do you have any advice

  8. You all had strict doctors. My husband and I got sleeved on 4/23. We started pre-op diets a week before surgery. They told us 3 days liquids, then the last 4 clear liquids. We had to drink 2 bottles of magnesium citrate. We lost 10 lbs in one week. Post op for now one week, down 12 lbs. My husband is down a total of 30lbs. Our surgeon left us with only 3 incisions. The lathes in our belly buttons! We couldn't be more happy! Our scars are almost non- existent!

  10. Yes walking and moving after surgery makes a difference. I really had no pain-- my husband had some pain (but all controlled by meds) due to extra scar tissue in his abdomen. (He was a military police) . I had so many fears with reading the message board but I had a great experience. For me it was similar to the EGD went to sleep- woke up, we only recvd 3 small incisions (the biggest inside our bellie buttons- the other two are like tiny!
  11. We both had plenty leave from our jobs, but we chose not to let them in on our surgeries, returned to work right away and planning to take a 2 week vacation when we hit our 50 lb loss!
  12. I'm down 15 lbs, husband down 17 since 4/19 ( preop 4 days and surgery 4/23.
  13. I had surgery on a Thursday morning (both my husband and I) and we both returned to work on the following Monday! He and I walked 2.5 miles on Sat and Sunday trying to ready ourselves for the week! I'm at work now-- we had surgeries on 4/23
  14. Good Morning All/Colleenrenee Congrats, we have our sleeve too! (My husband and me) on 23rd as well! Pretty painless for me, my husband had a lot of abdominal scarring.. So a bit more painful for him. We are both feeling great and are back to work today. I'm actually working in the office as I send this post. My husband is down 30lb since advised of Diabetes 2mths ago. Only 6 down since pre-op. Me down a total of 15.. since 2 weeks ago, and only one lb down pre-op weight. I'm aired up, plus I got my cycle the day after surgery, ugh, but feel blessed and wonderful. Yesterday me and my hubby walked 2.6 miles.
  15. Feeling pretty decent, my husband and I were sleeved yesterday, today were out at the Baltimore Harbor walking around.
  16. Thank you both! We are here in Baltimore walking around the Harbor for 2 hours

  18. My husband and I survived! Me very minimal pain just nauseated! My husbands was a bit more painful as it was discovered during surgery he had quite a bit of scar tissue in his abdomen. Today, we are feeling better, we were thankful our surgeon gave us only 3 holes. The largest in our bellie button! The other 2 are very small.
  19. We're hanging in there! I pray that you're doing well! You're sleeved by now! When you're feeling up to it, please let me know how you're doing! Nervous!
  20. My husband and I are due to be sleeved on April 23rd! Excited and nervous!
