I'm also having surgery on April 6!!!!! I'm not terrified, but I am excitedly nervous! I wish us both well!!!

I had my surgery done at Celebration also. Dr Kim, my surgery was 3/20. So far so good! No complications And the hospital staff was amazing!

I just had my surgery on Thursday. I was very nervous, but everyone at the surgical center was fabulous. I spent one night and came home at 6:00am. Each day gets a bit easier. I'm eager to see where this journey takes me. So far, it's really not as bad as I thought it would be.

I was absolutely terrified last Thursday morning before my surgery, and it wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated and I'm only 5 days out but feeling a little better every day

When I checked into the hospital, I told my surgeon I was really anxious and they gave good drugs... Don't suffer - tell them you're nervous!!!

I'm having surgery on April 6th at Celebration Hospital is Kissimmee, Florida and I'm extremely terrified. Was anyone this scared before surgery? Is this a normal feeling?

Yes right before surgery I got so ill they had to put the surgery on Hold until I stop throwing up so yes I've been there but it will be ok ;). Hope it went well

I was also very very nervous. I was expecting to be in such pain, but when I woke up I was just slightly sore and my ports were minimal compared to what I thought they would be. I had 6 of them only because they fixed a hernia while they were at it. I am home now and can't believe I thought it was such a big deal. I hope you are having a speedy recovery. I'm starting thick liquids tommorow and can't wait!

Thank you so much, just be sure to keep walking because gas pains are a killer. I wish you the best with your new life ????

More than...

How are you doing? Are you home?

Yes I am finally home, I was allowed to leave Thursday night. I'm much better now, just a little pain here and there from gas and my incisions. The hardest part for me now is trying to find a liquid protein that my stomach can tolerate because I'm lactose intolerant and one that I'll actually drink. So far I haven't been getting much protein in which I know is really bad. Hopefully by Tuesday I can start on purée foods. How are you doing? Are you on Instagram?
