Thankfully I have thick hair but mine is still falling out too. Badly! I run my fingers through it & I have a handful...not exaggerating either. :crying:

I have no idea how long it's suppose to last but I did hear that it grows back. So far I'm not missing it but it is annoying.

Girl you better come one. Flowergurl is fixing to pass me up! I am down almost 30 lbs. I am almost to my first goal of being under 200 lbs. :rolleyes2:

Going to work hard this week to get closer to my goal. Went and bought a new shirt and HELLO it is a 16-18 sure beats a 22 wide. Hopefully next I can buy clothes in the normal sizes instead of having to go find the plus sizes. :girl_hug:

DOLLS,

There is going to be a support meeting at the Little Rock DRESS BARN on Tuesday the 14th. I think this is a neat way to have a meeting. It will be informational as far as,,,,,going from large to smaller clothes, and the assistance we might need in doing this.

I am working so hard towards getting my band,,,,,and getting my new insurance,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and starting my NEW LIFE.

Hugs to you all!

Mary

my hair loss got real bad around the 4th or 5th month. then it just stopped. i have really long hair and had to get about 4 inches cut off to "lighten" it up. (i wanted to whack it off..hairdresser did not :wink2:). now i have all kinds of sprigglies all over my hair....lol..

melody mary...how are you doing? i had a hysterectomy 9/22 and developed a severe complication, so i've been doped up on pain medicine since. i'm not anymore. finally starting to feel a little normal now, and i'm officially under 200 lbs. and i'm unfilled. i've lost 5 lbs in the last week!!!! the gynecologist said that my ovaries were the problem and i should see significant improvement without them. i believe him. i'm not craving food like i was, i'm really not even hungry.

boy..anyone that lives near the air base today is getting an ear full?! i guess they are getting ready for the air show. i've been listening to the air planes practicing all day.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
