The Dr goes over that risk with you and the information is also readily available on the internet. Women all over the world us IUDs at a much higher rate than in the US.

I have a Paraguard and i love it. If I wanted to have children, i probably wouldnt take the small risk. With weight loss as a priority, I wouldn't take anything hormonal either. Good luck ladies.

I've had the Mirena IUD for 3 years now, the first two-years i had no bleeding but still the cramps the thirdly year is when i had the surgery and started bleeding and my gyom said is normal after WL surgery i had it checked in November and everything is normal for me .

Can the Depo shot slow down weight loss significantly? I'm so upset...I've only lost 10 pounds since December 31!!! Had the shot January 7 and that's it!! Good bye weight loss!!!!!!!
