  1. Wow glad to know I'm not the only one! My tailbone hurts also when sitting and I had assumed that it came from the lack of "padding" but a few weeks later came the lower back pain. I was thinking the back pain was coming from my plush pillow top mattress, maybe to soft but now after reading yalls post, I see this is something that comes with the territory.
  2. I had my surgery back in February and before the surgery my periods were always irregular which caused me to be on birth control to make it stable. Now that I've lost 50lbs, my periods seem like they are even more out of whack. I never really go off, it will get really light like I'm about to go off then I'll spot for a while. This month I've been on my period for almost 3 weeks!

  5. My period seems like it's all over the place. My surgery was 2/23 & I got my period 3/1-3/18 & then it came on again on 3/30-4/4 & came on again 4/29-5/1. I have no idea what's going on.

  7. I was told to stop taking the pills two weeks before surgery and I could start back taking them two weeks after surgery but they had to be crushed. Now that I'm six weeks out, I'm able to take my birth control pill and vitamins whole.
  8. I'm now six weeks post op and my advice to you is to walk as much as you can, sip fluids, and try to take it easy. At two weeks out, getting dressed made me tired.

  13. Decided to weigh myself since I'm six weeks out and I'm down 47 lbs! Can't believe I've lost that much in only six weeks.

  17. Thanks for the input. I'm 3 weeks post op & have lost 27.8 lbs. My shoes are more loose now but it's not quite time to buy more shoes yet.
  18. How soon after surgery did you guys notice your shoe size was going down?
  19. Yep since surgery and thanks!

  21. I had my two week post op appointment and I'm happy to say I've lost 27.8 lbs
  22. We are using condoms until I can start the pills which will be in two weeks.
  23. Yea I got a canker sore also on the inside of my upper lip and figured it was from the tubes. I started puréed foods Sunday and let me tell you...it was the best ever lol. So glad to be off clear liquids. Now I'm looking forward to soft foods.
  24. Now that I'm 5 days post op, my hands and feet are extremely cold.
  25. The goal is to get 40oz a day of water and 70 grams of protein. My MD said my main goal was to concentrate on getting as much water in as possible and not really focus on the protein that way I won't end up back in the hospital for dehydration. Yesterday was the closest I've gotten, I was able to get in 32oz WOOHOO
