I don't have a surgery date yet. Going through testing for clearance. I live in the south suburbs and my surgeon is Dr. Cahill.

Hi everyone. I'm going through the preop qualifications for surgery. Just did the upper GI, trying to pass the cardiac clearance..I have to do the 2 part stress test and the psychologist. My EKG should something abnormal so I'm working on that.

I am 43 as well, and we don't have children. One of the reason why I decided to have surgery was to increase my chances. It's nice to know I'm not alone. I'm pre op going through the testing to get approval for surgery. *babydust* to all.

Congratulations!! How long did you have to wait for your approval? I'm still waiting and it was submitted two weeks ago.
