Hi everyone. I'm going through the preop qualifications for surgery. Just did the upper GI, trying to pass the cardiac clearance..I have to do the 2 part stress test and the psychologist. My EKG should something abnormal so I'm working on that. -
Over 40 havent had surgery yet.... Concerned

I am 43 as well, and we don't have children. One of the reason why I decided to have surgery was to increase my chances. It's nice to know I'm not alone. I'm pre op going through the testing to get approval for surgery. *babydust* to all. -
Congratulations!! How long did you have to wait for your approval? I'm still waiting and it was submitted two weeks ago.

Newbie- dr submitted my paperwork to BCBS of Illinois today. Dr. Cahill will be my surgeon.
