It's not how many times you fall down, it's how many times you get up. Sounds to me like you just got up again. Congrats!

For me, I can eat thinned yogurt and cream or Tomato Soup. I have a hard time with shakes. I'm not sure if I drank to many before surgery and I'm just having a hard time getting them down. Everything makes me cramp. I hope your pouch starts feeling better soon! I broke down and cried like a baby the other day. I think I'm just tired of feeling bad...ya know?

I'm so sorry for you who are struggling. I flavored my Water and i think that's been the biggest thing. I even had a couple tiny bits with my tiny silverware of deviled egg at dinner. Chewed the hell out of it. Hard to pass on bread and brownies but i keep thinking just get through right now and soon i can have satisfying substitutions. Keep at it ladies. Make the most of this honeymoon stage and focus on how awesome you will look and feel soon.

Hi All!

I'm checking in. I'll be two-weeks post-op tomorrow. I'm struggling a little with getting in Water and Protein. The past few days, I feel like I can only get in around three bites and boom, I'm full. I really don't want to get dehydrated so I always have a bottle of water or Isopure in my hand. I don't see the doctor again until 4/15 when I'll begin some meats and soft foods. My diet consists of Water, Isopure, a little yogurt, some scrambled eggs, and some baked ricotta for supper. I feel like I'm not getting enough of anything, really. But overall, I feel good, I'm not in a lot of pain. Today is my first day back to work and I'm taking it easy with a half-day. I feel like things use more energy now! :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
