Okay Snuffy, I'll try to explain it a bit more simply this time. YOU SAID: "There is a general belief that the same religous orders who preach abstinence and no sex before marriage, are actually p

I just read this article -- even though it's old -- very potent stuff out of the UK: Fifty babies a year are alive after abortion - Times Online A few excerpts -- but the entire article is worth r

Well, the fact that 1/3 of unborn babies are killed by abortion isn't hypothetical. Knowing whether one of them is an "Einstein" is and will remain unknowable because once you kill someone you never

{quote] I’ll give he Moslems some credit on getting out of this dilemma. At least they had the sense to say that the Quran was not written by man, but that the illiterate Prophet Mohamed recited the words told to him by the Archangel Gabriel. Abu Bakr later had scribes transcribe the recitation word for word into the Quran. [end]

Christians do not deny that "man's" hands wrote the bible. God gave these revelations to men who wrote them just as he dictated it to them. Moses wrote some of the Old Testament and Paul and other Apostle's of Christ wrote letters that were compiled for the New Testament. All the bible was written for man through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, who is God.

If you will venture out and actually read it, you will find that it is no ordinary book. Even though these books were written at different times and varying circumstances, they harmoniously compliment each other and constitute a whole. It has been aptly remarked that the Hebrew scriptures are the New Testament in prophecy and the New Testament is the Hebrew scriptures in fulfillment (Jere. 31: 31-34, cp. Heb. 8: 7-13). When one considers there were about 40 persons, many of whom from totally different backgrounds, and about 1500 years consumed in the making of the Bible, the Bible truly bespeaks inspiration - a book beyond the scope of mere men.

Have I ever said I hadn’t read it? I have read it (and the Quran). I don’t find either to be awe inspiring or particularly credible. I find them both to have a lot of common sense ways in which people should act, both have a lot of useless rules and restrictions, both of full of contradictions, and depending on how you read them both - justify a lot of hostility towards your fellow man.

Is that possible?

Only if Palin runs for President with that other shrill and fellow whacko, Michelle Bachman and then their campaign slogan can be:

"I'M WITH STUPID"

Lol! Awesome!

They both have fabulous lines that they can be slammed with if they run. That should be fun. They make themselves such easy targets every time they open their mouths. And together... priceless! For the Democratic party.

This girl I follow on twitter said: AtomsAndEve: If #abortion is murder, put the local police station's homicide dept and the abortion clinic in the same bldg. I hate when cops waste gas.

lol I thought it was funny!

Lol. Yeah thank you! I was 204 when I got pregnant, 181 the day before I had Sam and now here I am 2 months postpartum. I haven't been a size 12 since like 8th grade and now they're a little baggy! I'm shoked!

Well that sounds great. I hope you're feeling great too, not just skinny.

Everything else okay?

Everything's going okay. Baby's up to 9 pounds. My son has an ear infection. I'm tired. Still pumping and feedin baby all night! EFF lol

9 lbs. - that's great. Sorry your boy has an ear infection though. That always makes for an unpleasant time for the little tykes. Hurts!

I know you must be really tired, but you sound good and I am happy that things are going well there overall.

I always enjoy reading your clever posts so I'm happy that you're posting again.

Well thank you  Luckly my son never complains. He's a good boy!

Seriously...if you have a twitter follow this lady:

ProChoiceGal Adoption isn't an alternative to pregnancy,it's an alternative to parenting. It doesn't get rid of possible trauma from pregnancy #ProChoice

Says it perfectly!!!

I don't twit but I am glad to know that there's someone out there talking about this stuff!~

lol! She really has awesome things to say...here's a few new ones:

The circumstances that lead up to abortion are usually bad and very unfortunate. The abortion itself is a blessing.

Abortion wasn't invented in the year 1973. I promise.

There is absolutely no such thing as an abortion "free" area. Abortion will always exist every where, legal or not.

No one thinks that having an abortion is the thrill of their life. But abortion is good, just like chemotheraphy is good.

Planned Parenthood isn't all about abortion. The PP near me doesn't even provide abortions.

If it's wrong 4 a parent 2 force daughter to have an abortion, then it's wrong4a parent to force their daughter to go thru a preg

Teens don't have to get parental consent to go through a pregnancy, so they shouldn't need it to end one.

If I had kids and didn't want to take care of them,I could give them up 4 adoption. Can't give a fetus up 4 adoption

I don't care if the fetus is a person or not. Women are persons regardless, they still deserve liberty.

I don't care if an abortion looks gory (what medical procedure doesn't?), that does not take away from the humanity of women!

I'm so sick of anti-choicers dehumanizing women. They act as if being forced through a pregnancy can't possibly affect us at all.

"Fetal pain/personhood" is used 2 distract from the fact that women CAN feel pain and trauma, and that women ARE persons.

Have a positive abortion story? Share it here! Interesting new site: Thanks, Abortion! http://thanksabortion.com/

It makes no sense to claim to care about pregnant women and then support causes that intentionally hurt them.

Yes, bombing a clinic is considered terrorism -- even if the perpetrators are "Christian."

Somehow, "I'm sorry that you were raped, but if you got pregnant I'd want to force you through the pregnancy" isn't so comforting.

My opinion (in short): If a woman owns her body in the first 20 wks of pregnancy, she should own her body in the last 20, too.

I know women who have gotten abortions and none of them regret it.

I hope my kids live to see the day when taking away a woman's right to choose is seen as just bad as taking away her right 2 vote

Seems like AntiChoice post-abortion programs are just there to try to make women grieve after their abortions, not to help

"On avg, 8 women each year die from induced abortion, compared w/ about 280 who die from pregnancy/childbirth"
