First Day of Week Three Puree

  • Popular Post

I pureed 2oz of roast beef with beef bullion. It was not good at all. I ate it any way I became nauseated. I was dreading dinner but it came anyway. I had grilled chicken in low sodium chicken bullion. The first bit and there was no way that was going down. I put that down the disposal. It then accrued to me why mix it with anything other than Water. I then did that that. It was good but I ate to fast and it took 2hrs to pass. I found this app called Eat Slower and tried that with sugar-free Jello and I was able to eat. I can't wait to try the app tomorrow. One minute and thirty seconds between each bit. My phone vibrates when it is time for me to take another bit. I will use it until I master eating. Love It!!! Any other ideas out there I can try?

Sounds like you are doing fine. Trial and error is often the way we find out whether we like something or not. You can also try refried beans (they may need to be thinned out) or hummus which you can eat cold or at room temp. Also instead of boullion which may be too concentrated try low sodium broth.

@Jschultes

Yesterday Monday was also my Stage 3 Puree what I did I was I bought some chicken cutless and squash with seasoned the cutless with some garlic, salt and pepper I made a Soup after soup was done I put it in the food processor and ate it.

It was pretty good but i wasnt' able to eat much i save some for the week.

Good luck

Elisa

My nutritionist suggested freezing it in an ice tray. You'll probably one be able to eat 1 -2 cubes at a time, and this way the soup doesn't go to waste.
