Your Favorite things- fitness/ exercise related

Ok everyone, please share your favorite things you have found for fitness. Your favorite headbands, ear buds, sports bras, clothing, armbands, compression garments, etc. and why this item is your favorite and what sets it above the rest. Many people are either starting a fitness routine for the first time ever or are returning to fitness after a long break. Things change quickly in the retail setting and it can be hard, not to mention expensive, to try many things only to find out they aren't worth it or don't last. I will start off with my favorite thing so far.

Enell brand sports bras are the BEST EVER sports bra for busty girls. I wear a 40GG and the Enell sports bra makes sure my boobs do not move at all! They are not pretty sports bras and they absolutely give you a uniboob, but I have never found another sports bra that gives this much support. Enell is a bit pricey at around $60, but they last forever too. I have been at least a DD cup since I was 14 and played sports through high school. The closest I ever got to good support and minimal movement was wearing one sports bra with a second sports bra over the top of it. Then wrapped an ace bandage around my chest and back tightly and then used a compression tank over that. So that is my favorite thing recommendation.

Please chime in and share yours! I need your ideas. Also, if you have tried something and found it sorely lacking, share that too. Knowledge is power.

Listen to your favorite music while you train and follow the program’s convenient audio alerts. Along with voice/audio alerts and music controls on your headset, just press “start”, put your device in your pocket, and you are ready to go. Alerts will tell you when to warm-up, walk, run, cooldown, and when minute is left to give it your all.

Pre-surgery and right after surgery work out wear: Kohl's has a great selection on line in plus sizes and runs true to size as does Lane Bryant. Once I got into about a size 18 I could fit into XXL Fabletics - Kate Hudson's line available on line. Love the yoga pants they have fantastic compression for the price. The sports bras are not very supportive even for a B cup like me. Kiava (again on line) makes a double criss cross back sports bra that provides great support even for running for under $40, my favorite by far and they look cute with a tank top. I am a 38 B and wear an XL (I am wide through my ribs). I could wear the XXL at a 40-42C. You want to start exercising but don't know where to start and aren't thrilled about signing a gym contract? Check out Amazon local and groupon in your area and you will find all kinds of options from cross fit, martial arts, zumba, you name it and the deals are very inexpensive. I found the dance studio I go to that way. I was hooked from about the 5th class and is my main form of exercise and has been for over a year. I thought the gym was pretty boring by comparison.

I am currently reading the 2014 Best American Sports Writing anthology and there is an article about sports bras that made me think of this site. I'm looking forward to fitting in my first real sports bra in years. They have certainly changed a lot since they were invented!
